Ingredients: (for around 15 scones)
250 g flour
1/2 package baking powder
60 g soft butter (in flakes)
125 g whole milk yoghurt
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. salt
1. Mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, butter and whole milk yoghurt and knead everything together.
2. Coast it on a floured worktop so that it is about 2 cm thick. Cut out round circles and put them on a baking tray.
3. Mix 1 egg yolk with 1 tablespoon of water and spread the scones with it.
4. Bake them in the oven at 190° for around 15 minutes.
Especially they are tasting good when they are warm and served with selfmade jam. And they are perfect for a delicious breakfast buffet.
